Beck Bennett on how he creates ‘Saturday Night Live’ characters: ‘I want to have fun with it’

Beck Bennett has been part of the cast of “Saturday Night Live” since 2013 and played a wide range of hilarious characters.The comedian is best known for his impressions of Russian President Vladimir Putin and former Vice President Mike Pence. But with every new episode of the long-running sketch comedy show, comes new challenges. Bennett spoke to Fox News about the difficulties of creating new characters while promoting his new animated Netflix film, “The Mitchells vs. The Machines.”‘SNL’ HOST ELON MUSK JOKES ABOUT HIS AND GRIMES’ BABY NAME AND ITS PRONUNCIATIONSometimes, he admitted, “I will work less on a character because I want to have fun with it.”
